The rate at which classical recordings are issued shows no signs of slowing, despite the general economic downturn, so our 2008 Christmas Catalogue is full of tempting new releases. From Bellini with Bartoli to Vivaldi with Venice Baroque, you will find more than one hundred new recordings, along with a selection of the new Gramophone award-winners. There's an interesting range of Christmas-related discs with music ranging from Corelli to Honegger. John Rutter fans in particular should be delighted with the first all-new, all-Rutter Christmas recording for twenty years from the Cambridge Singers, especially as it's on offer at a reduced price until the end of the year! Closer to home, we have new releases from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra (a contrasting Mozart serenade and divertimento) and the Dunedin Consort (Handel's Acis and Galatea). And for the first time, audio books are featured in our brochure. DVD-wise, in addition to our catalogue items we are also promoting a selection of Universal Classics titles; visit our web-site to see details, or contact us for a list. Happy browsing!
